Where exactly in shalimar Bagh is this park located? Is it th one opposite Liberty Showroom?

I strongly oppose destruction of parks, but we should be aware of not hindering in the path of development. Inho, before launching a cyber campaign, we should try to know if th govt is finding some alternate park location, where they would plant as many trees & try to not destroy th eco balance.
If not, then am in for th campaign.

shiv vatika is opposite AL market in Shalimar Bagh, when we enter shalimar bagh from Richi Rich restraunt on the ring road.
There is no need of constructing a parking here and the Govt authorities like MCD and the local councillor are bent upon destructing the green cover and cutting down more than 100 fully grown trees.
this is an unmindfull act on the part of MCD. they should search for an alternative sitefor parking without disturbing our ecosystem.

Let me tell you that the govt is not finding any alternate park location. How long would it take for the trees which are about 35 years old to grow again? Another 35 years. In fact the parking is not even needed.

we must save trees and plant trees.trees not only provide beauty, shade, shelter and food
but also acts as life time sink of carbon dioxide.we being residents of shalimarbagh are being
robbed at the little greenery we have and demand that we must protect our AM/AN block park
which save us from pollution and chaos.no need of any parking at the cost of the park.
